"I have gained so much from dance"

Lasharde came to us when he was 11 years old, he was one of our school's first-ever dancers & has been with us for 9 years now. He is loyal, trusts us & in return, we support him like he's family.

Lasharde is talented & has something very special. We are so proud to have started his journey in dancing & he now attends Performing Arts college. He hopes to pursue a career in dance & we fully believe he will achieve this.

Being a lad from a town on the edge of the city- his commitment & focus to dance has definitely prevented him from being led down the wrong path. We are proud that despite attempts to make him feel silly for dancing he's stayed true to his passion.

I think things are getting better for boys dancing, as time goes on stereotypes are being broken down & people are being more open to boys doing different hobbies.

As long as we continue to teach our children this, hopefully more boys will feel like they can get into dancing. As a teacher, I have found they are generally VERY good at it.
